CZECH REPUBLIC AMBASSADOR For Indonesia Praises Bali Culture Diversity

SANUR – During their visit to Bali, the Honorable Ambassador of Czech Republic for Indonesia Mr H.E. Ivan Hotek and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Czech Republic Mr Martin Smolek visited the newly launched office of Honorary Consulate for Czech Republic for Bali, West & East Nusa Tenggara located within the premises of Griya Santrian Resort in Sanur on Thursday, January 30, 2020.

Later that evening, the group of guests from Czech Republic accompanied by Hermawan Kartajaya, the honorary consul of Czech Republic for Surabaya, Bali and West Nusa Tenggara joined a dining feast fit for Balinese royal kings of the old, the Rajalaya. The gala dinner was held at the royal compound, Griya Gede Keniten. The overseas guests praised the beauty of the Island of Gods and the community warmth and welcome, set in the rich culture and local wisdom of the Balinese.

Ida Bagus Gede Sidharta Putra, as chairman of Indonesia Hotel and Restaurant Association (Perhimpunan Hotel dan Restoran Indonesia / PHRI) Denpasar chapter, manager of Santrian Group corporation and General Manager of Griya Santrian, gave a warm welcome to the delegates. He was accompanied by the families of Santrian Corporation, IB. Ngurah A. Kumbayana, Managing Director Santrian Resorts and Villas, IB Agung Partha Adnyana the chairman for Bali Tourism Board (BTB) and IB Alit Awathara.

“We want to introduce the richness and diversity of Balinese culture to the Czech Republic people. Through this event, we agree and commit to promote Indonesian tourism, specifically development of Bali and Nusa Tenggara region, as a preferred tourism destination for the Czech tourists,” says Ida Bagus Gede Sidharta Putra or better known as Gusde.(*)
