Bali Mental Health Clinic Officially Opened

BALI  – Bali Mental Health Clinic (BMHC) located at Jalan Imam Bonjol No. 125, Monang Maning, Pemecutan Kelod, West Denpasar, Denpasar officially opened. The opening of the BMHC was marked by cutting the ribbon and signing the BHMC inscription by the Mayor of Denpasar, IGN Jaya Negara on Sunday (16/4).

In the release received by Paradiso.co.id on Sunday (16/4), the BMHC inauguration ceremony was also attended by the BMHC Commissioner, Cokorda Putri Rustini Raka, as well as the BMHC Director, dr. I Gusti Rai Tirta, and Head of IDI Denpasar Branch, dr. I Ketut Widiasa and a number of other invitees.

According to the Director of BMHC, dr. I Gusti Rai Tirta the Covid-19 pandemic which began at the end of 2019, has become a touchstone for the health system of all countries in the world. A pandemic caused by a virus, spreading so easily, not only has an effect on physical health, but also affects one’s mental health. Various problems that occur due to Covid-19 are considered to be a new source of stress for the community.

“Mental health is an important aspect in realizing comprehensive health. However, in most developing countries, mental health problems have not been prioritized when compared to communicable diseases. Mental health service facilities are still few and limited, especially health service facilities that provide complete mental health services. ,” said the Director of BMHC, dr. I Gusti Rai Tirta.

Bali is the main tourist destination in Indonesia and is well known throughout the world which attracts many foreign tourists to visit. The island of Bali, with its natural beauty, well-maintained culture and the friendliness of its people, has often become a destination for healing for the world community. But healing is not just a vacation, healing is a process of recovery from a state of deteriorating emotional, psychological or physical health of a person.

I Gusti Rai Tirta, Sp.KJ (K) who has experience as the Director of the Bali Provincial Mental Hospital in Bangli. BMHC as the first special mental inpatient main clinic on the island of Bali is committed to providing mental health services that are safe, reliable and trustworthy.

Bali Mental Health Clinic (BMHC) offers complete mental health services and combines them with leading Balinese tourism.
