BALI, ULTIMOPARADISO.COM — A warm and spirited atmosphere marked the arrival of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto at the Bali Beach Convention Center in Denpasar on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. President Prabowo was in Bali to officially inaugurate the Sanur Special Economic Zone (SEZ) and Bali International Hospital — two strategic initiatives aimed at strengthening Bali’s position as a hub for world-class medical services.
What made the President’s arrival particularly special was the heartfelt welcome from 400 Balinese children dressed in traditional attire, lined up neatly while waving small Indonesian flags. In addition, 40 young dancers performed the Pendet Dance, a traditional Balinese welcome ritual symbolizing the island’s hospitality and cultural pride.
Among the students was Galang, a 5th-grade student, who could not contain his excitement after shaking hands and receiving a hug from the President.
“I got to meet him, shake his hand, and he hugged me. I’m so happy — it’s my first time. I hope he stays healthy and becomes a good president,” Galang said with a beaming smile.***
