DENPASAR -The tourism sector has long been a mainstay of the Bali Island of the Gods. In fact, Governor I Wayan Koster plans to unite them through a one-door portal.

Reported by detikcom from Antara, Tuesday (11/8/2020), later this one-door portal will integrate the activities of all tourism stakeholders including tourism service businesses, government and society.

“The one-stop portal for Bali tourism includes hotel / lodging reservations, electronic ticketing (e-ticketing) for tourist destinations, online transportation, the digital market for Bali tourism, cashless payment integration and other fields in accordance with the development of the tourism industry. Bali, “said Koster in Denpasar, Bali, last Monday (10/8).

The regional regulation, continued Koster, is to reinforce the commitment to implement quality-oriented Balinese culture-based tourism.

Therefore, tourism needs to be arranged comprehensively in accordance with the regional development vision of Nangun Sat Kerthi Loka Bali through the Plan of Universal Development Plan towards a New Era of Bali.

“Apart from being quality-oriented, tourism in Bali is also oriented towards sustainability and competitiveness, so that a standard tourism implementation is needed by paying attention to the Tri Hita Karana philosophy which is derived from Sad Kerthi’s cultural values ​​and local wisdom,” he said.

These standards include environmentally friendly, sustainability, balance, siding with local resources, independence, community, togetherness, participatory, transparency, accountability and benefits organized in one area, one island, one pattern and one governance. Koster said that every tourism service business in Bali is required to register on the one-door Bali tourism portal that sells its products / services to other parties online and offline.

Furthermore, any tourism service business that conducts product sales transactions and / or exchanges information, either directly or indirectly with other service businesses, must go through this one-door Bali tourism portal.

Likewise, every other service business can sell Bali tourism service products by working in partnership with the one-stop Bali tourism portal.

However, the one-stop portal for Bali tourism is not allowed to sell directly to tourists.

“Partnerships are built as widely as possible with all Bali tourism stakeholders, both individuals and business entities in an open and transparent manner. Further provisions regarding registration and partnership procedures are regulated in a governor’s regulation,” he said.

Apart from the one-stop portal for Bali tourism, something new and important that is regulated in the regulation is the implementation of digital Balinese cultural tourism which includes tourism inspiration, tourist arrivals, destinations and tourism activities.
