South Quay (SQ), The Newest Lifestyle Destination in Kuta

KUTA – Another new destination is coming in Kuta, Bali. Is South Quay (SQ), a tourist destination that has just opened, on Tuesday, February 17, 2021. The presence of South Quay (SQ), which is located on Jl. Kartika Plaza (Discovery Shopping Mall) is expected to become The Newest Lifestyle Destination in Kuta.

“So we want to return Kuta as a new destination for generation Z and Y,” said Dicky Oscar, Corp Marketing Manager of PT Bali Utama Cakrawala accompanied by Marcom Manager DSM Fenki Fauzi and Johannes MP Siahaan from Bali Komunika during the Carnival Lifestyle Market press conference, Tuesday (16 / 2) in Kuta.

Dicky said, South Quay is the latest project from PT Bali Utama Cakrawala, a hospitality and lifestyle company in Bali that has decades of experience in its field. Construction on South Quay started in early 2019 and is expected to be completed this year. Even though the South Quay project was built in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic, PT Bali Utama Cakrawala remains committed to preparing Bali tourism for domestic and foreign tourists when the situation returns to normal.

“South Quay (SQ) was built with the aim of becoming The Newest Lifestyle Destination in Kuta, which provides a hang out feel that is different from the concept of high selling and direct access to Kuta Beach,” added Dicky.

Described in its development, SQ will focus on F&B and lifestyle tenants to provide new experiences in traveling and can be an alternative to unwind while enjoying the comfortable calm surrounding with the sunset view of Kuta Beach. There are currently 42 tenants in SQ. While the Carnival Lifestyle Market is a management program that will be held from 11 February – 10 March 2021 at 12.00 – 20.00 WITA.

This program is formed by gathering local entrepreneurs who already have their own markets and unique brands and already have fans either through Instagram or other e-commerce. “Of course we held this event in compliance with the Health Protocol. We invite local entrepreneurs with a range of fashion products – accesories – F & B – hobbies – flora & fauna – art & craft – bag & shoes so that they are easily recognized by the wider community, ”added Dicky.
