Celebrity Chef Luca Ciano Returns to Bella Cucina with More Surprises

InterContinental Bali Resort’s signature Mediterranean restaurant, Bella Cucina, welcomes back celebrity chef Luca Ciano for another restaurant takeover.

BALI — Following the successful restaurant takeover by the Sydney-based celebrity chef Luca Ciano last year, InterContinental Bali Resort is excited to announce the return of the renowned chef at the restaurant from 10-18 April 2023. Chef Luca will once again bring his inventive take on traditional Italian and Mediterranean cuisine crafted using the best local fresh and seasonal ingredients.

Throughout the week-long takeover at Bella Cucina, Chef Luca offers diners a tantalising glimpse into his culinary world, promising a range of exquisite dishes that are sure to delight the senses. The special dishes are available for a la carte dinner and 6-course set menu dinners on 10-13 and 15-16 April. A 6-course wine dinner in collaboration with Mouton Cadet wines will be held on the 14 April and with Sababay wines on the 10 April. The visit ends with a lavish Sunday Brunch on Sunday the 16 April. During the visit Chef Luca also allows patrons to learn to cook some of his dishes with a fun Cooking Demo with Kids on the 15 April afternoon. For a short time post his visit, the Mediterranean and Italian dishes will continue to feature on the menu.

With a career spanning more than two decades, Chef Luca has worked in some of the most prestigious kitchens around the world, honing his skills and crafting his signature style. From his roots in Italy, Chef Luca has expanded his repertoire to encompass a fusion of flavours, incorporating fresh, simple, and seasonal ingredients inspired by Italian, Mediterranean, and global influences to create dishes that are as delicious as they are beautiful. His extensive experience includes the famous 2 Michelin-starred restaurant Il Luogo di Aimo e Nadia in Milan, as well as international experience at London’s Millennium Gloucester Hotel and Relais & Chateaux in Bermuda. In Australia, he did his stints at the Sheraton on the Park and The Westin in Sydney and Cypress Lakes Resort in the Hunter Valley before hosting his own TV show, Luca’s Key Ingredient, on Channel 10 and launching best-selling kitchen products from sauces to jams.
